The fall sports season at Trenton High School is quickly approaching, with practices set to begin on August 7th. Student-athletes are reminded to have a completed physical on file before the first day of practice.
The Trenton football team will have a familiar nine-game schedule, with the main change being in Week #3. Princeton’s move to 8-man football and the Grand River Conference West resulted in their removal from the Bulldogs’ schedule. Instead, Trenton will host KIPP Kansas City Legacy on September 8th. The non-conference games against Brookfield and Lathrop remain the same, with Trenton hosting Brookfield on August 25th and traveling to Lathrop on September 1st. The Grand River Conference competition will span the final six weeks of the regular season, with home games against Putnam County, Polo, and Maysville, and away games against Milan, Gallatin, and South Harrison. Prior to the start of the regular season, Trenton will participate in a four-school jamboree at Carrollton High School on August 18th, along with Carrollton, South Harrison, and Lexington.

For softball, Trenton will host a jamboree on Saturday, August 19th, followed by a season-opening tournament at Cameron on August 25th and 26th. The home opener against Albany is scheduled for August 28th. In Grand River Conference play, the Lady Bulldogs will have away games against Putnam County, Polo, and Milan, and home games against Maysville, Gallatin, and South Harrison. They will also face Princeton, with the Tigers hosting Trenton on September 26th. The regular season will conclude with three consecutive home games against Brookfield, Cameron, and Chillicothe at Mark Griffin Memorial Field.

Lady Bulldog golf will kick off their five-week regular season at Brookfield on August 29th, while the volleyball team will begin with road games against Cameron and Brookfield on August 28th and 29th, respectively. The home opener for volleyball will be against Chillicothe on August 31st.

The Trenton girls tennis team will have a regular season running from August 29th to September 26th. Their first match will be on the road against Carrollton, with the home opener against Savannah taking place on August 31st.
