The MINK League has recently announced its selections for Player of the Week and Pitcher of the Week. Aiden Baumann of the Jefferson City Renegades has been named the Player of the Week, while Karter Muck of the Chillicothe Mudcats has earned the Pitcher of the Week distinction.

Baumann’s exceptional performance contributes to the Renegades’ current winning streak, and he becomes the second consecutive Renegade to receive the Player of the Week recognition. As a freshman from the University of Texas-San Antonio, Baumann maintains an impressive season batting average of .357, along with a remarkable .525 on-base percentage. He has also showcased his power with one home run and one triple so far. In the past week, Baumann accumulated 10 hits, including a noteworthy 4-hit game against Nevada, which resulted in an 8-5 victory.

Meanwhile, Karter Muck, a former student-athlete at the University of Kansas and alumnus of St. Pius X, has exhibited remarkable skills on the mound in his two appearances this season. Muck has proven to be a valuable asset, allowing just one run and averaging nearly five strikeouts per outing. His impressive pitching performances have contributed to the success of the Chillicothe Mudcats.
