Former University of Missouri offensive lineman and NFL veteran Evan Boehm has been named the assistant director of recruiting/player relations for the Mizzou Football support staff, announced by Head Coach Eliah Drinkwitz.

Boehm, a native of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, holds the Mizzou football school record for consecutive starts along the offensive line, with an impressive streak of 52 starts. As a true freshman in 2012, he began his career with 12 starts at guard and earned Freshman All-American honors. He then transitioned to the center position before the 2013 season and went on to start 40 consecutive games over the next three seasons. Boehm was a valuable member of Missouri’s 2013 and 2014 SEC East Division champion teams.

In the 2016 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals selected Boehm in the fourth round. Throughout his six-year NFL career, he showcased his versatility by appearing in 55 games and starting at both center and guard positions.

Boehm joins former Mizzou players Atiyyah Ellison, who serves as the Director of Alumni and Player Relations, and Brock Olivo, who works as a Special Teams Analyst, on the Missouri football staff. All three individuals had successful careers at Mizzou before making their mark in the NFL. While Boehm hails from the Kansas City area, Ellison and Olivo originally come from the St. Louis area.

Mizzou’s 2023 season will kick off on Thursday, August 31, with a game against South Dakota at Memorial Stadium.
