Princeton high school FFA team wins state trap shooting title

The FFA trap shooting sports team from Princeton High School has secured a state championship title.

The Princeton FFA Chapter’s Facebook page displayed the team and their advisor celebrating a significant achievement, having hit 480 out of 500 clays. The team members include Gavin Power, Evan Houck, Jay Allen, Landon Krohn, and Cooper Boxley, with Kurt Meighen serving as their advisor. This victory marks the second consecutive year that the chapter has claimed the state championship title.

The competition took place on Saturday at the 2024 Paul Larsen Memorial State High School Trap Shoot in Linn Creek. According to details shared on the Facebook page, the event was organized in collaboration with the Missouri Trap Shooters Association and featured 955 student competitors from throughout the state.
