South Harrison surges into Class 1 poll, dropping Milan six spots, in latest media rankings

High School Football Local Sports

Friday night’s victory in Bethany for South Harrison not only gave the Bulldogs the outright lead in the Grand River Conference football race, but it also sent the 6-1 Bulldogs into the Top 10 in the Missouri media’s weekly high school football poll, with South Harrison surging to #9.  The loss for Milan, the Wildcats first of the season, pushed the ‘Cats down six spots, from #4 to #10.  That represented the biggest shake-up in the poll, with powerhouse KCI Conference leading Mid-Buchanan remaining the unanimous #1, while East Buchanan, the only team to beat South Harrison this season, remaining firmly entrenched in the Top 10.
