Stanberry remains unanimous #1 in statewide eight-man poll

The Stanberry Bulldogs, facing a key midseason Grand River Conference test against North Andrew this Friday night, remain the #1 ranked team in the state of Missouri in the weekly eight-man media poll.

Stanberry has 80 points, trailed in the #2 position by GRC rival Worth County, with the Tigers moving up after last week’s win at King City, amassing 65 points.  Worth County has a Top-10 matchup this week, hosting #7 Orrick (4-0).  Drexel and East Atchison are tied for the third spot, both with 63 points, while North Shelby, going into Thursday night’s game at Keytesville, is ranked #5.

King City falls to #6 in the poll this week, with the Wildkats hosting 4-1 Rock Port on Friday night.  Archie, heading into a game at #3 Drexel, checks in at 5-0 and ranked #8, with St. Paul Lutheran at #9, and Bishop LeBlond at #10.
