High School Basketball Wrestling

The basketball seasons are two games done for the 2018-2019 season, with a Lady Bulldog team expected to be one of the best Class 3 off to a dominant 2-0 start with victories over East Buchanan on Tuesday, November 20th and, one week later, a win over Gilman City in the Gallatin Tournament quarterfinals.  Trenton’s girls will have games on Friday and Saturday at Gallatin, with road trips looming next week to Marceline (December 4th) and Chillicothe (December 7th).

The Trenton boys basketball team is 1-1, struggling offensively in a loss to East Buchanan on Tuesday the 20th, but coming back with a victory over Hardin-Central last night.  The Bulldogs will play in a late-night (8:15 PM) semifinal on Friday in the Gallatin Tournament, with a Saturday game at either 1:30 (third place) or 4:30 (championship), prior to the road trips to Marceline and Chillicothe next week.

The season opener for Trenton’s wrestling team will send the Bulldogs to Cameron High School on Thursday night at 5:30, with a trip to Marceline for the Tigers annual tournament on Saturday morning, and a Grand River Conference triangular at Gallatin with the GRC champion Bulldogs, in addition to South Harrison’s band of Bulldogs, awaiting Trenton’s arrival.
