The Trenton Bulldogs outscored the Gallatin Bulldogs 21-12 in the final quarter to win Tuesday night’s quarterfinal in the Gallatin Invitational Tournament by a score of 58-51 in action broadcast on KGOZ FM 101.7.
Kiefer Tolson led THS with 18 points with Gabe Novak adding 15. Both Maverick Sole and Seth Doolittle played critical roles in the come-from-behind effort, combining for 16 points (8 each), with all of their tallies coming after halftime.
Trenton (1-2) advances to play top-seeded Maysville in the GIT semifinal round on Thursday night at 5:45 (KGOZ FM 101.7).
Gallatin, in absorbing its first loss of the season, falls to 2-1. Gavin Wilmes led GHS with 17 points while Jaden Wilson added 16. Boston Bell had seven points.
