Both of the Trenton Middle School softball teams found success against Cameron on Wednesday night, winning games by a combined score of 25-6.
The “A” team won 19-6, with Lexi Gott leading the way for TMS with a 3 for 3 night, along with four runs scored. Gracyn Rongey was 1 for 2 and scored three times. Maci Moore walked twice and got a base hit while scoring three runs, and Jillian Nichols added a pair of runs with a 1 for 2 hitting effort.
Chloe Harris, Bailey Catron, Morgan King, Jaycie Griffin, Delaney Franklin, and Ellianna Gaunt all scored runs for Trenton.
Trenton’s “B” team shutout Cameron by a score of 6-0. Bailey Catron and Flori Wilcox both went 1 for 2 for Trenton.
