Four members of the three-time defending Grand River Conference champion Trenton Lady Bulldogs were named to the All-Conference Eastern Division first team in softball on Wednesday morning, with three of them, sophomore Maci Moore, senior Ainsley Tolson, and senior Salem Croy, named in unanimous fashion. Senior Mykah Hurley was the fourth first-team selection for THS. Other unanimous first-teamers were Maysville sophomore Sadie Smith, Princeton junior Lindsey Batson, and Putnam County’s junior Sammi Bradshaw and sophomore Carsen Sporleder. The remainder of the East first-team has Milan freshman Cadence Pauley, Maysville senior Cat Whiteman, and Polo senior Kallie Heil.
In the GRC Western Division, three players were named first-team from the West champs from Stanberry, all in unanimous fashion, in seniors Kierstyn McMillen, Lily Osborn, and Peyton Gage. Others named in the unanimous category are Albany sophomores Michaela Martin and Gabby Newman, King City senior Dakota Goucher, Braymer junior Jasmine Taylor, along with Worth County junior Anna Gladstone and senior Haley Hunt. North Andrew senior Jentry Copple completes the GRC West first team.
