The Trenton Lady Bulldogs boasted the top two scores out of 15 put up on Wednesday afternoon, with a 46 from medalist Werthen Gass and 49 from runner-up Kaitlyn Mounce leading THS to a triangular triumph over Putnam County and Chillicothe at the Green Hills Golf Course in Chillicothe.
Trenton’s Lana Raymo and Chillicothe’s Riley Brobst tied for 3rd place at 50, with the host Lady Hornets then posting a run of scores in the 50’s, with Lexi Hargrave and Maddie Lamp both at 53 and Hannah Sherrow at 56.
Putnam County’s top score, a 55, came from Jazmine Lorence. Trenton’s Hannah Kennebeck and Jordain Oshel both shot 60, with Putnam County’s Molly Parker and Brianna Vice both at 63, and Chillicothe’s Hannah Haakonstad and the Putnam County duo of Daysha Caley and Whitney Neighbors both shooting 64.
Trenton’s winning score was 205, with Chillicothe at 212, and Putnam County at 245.
