Kansas announces home football game with UNLV

NCAA

The Kansas Jayhawk football program will play host to the Nevada-Las Vegas (UNLV) Rebels on September 14, 2024, with no return trip to Las Vegas planned between the schools.  The addition of UNLV fills a hole in the non-conference schedule for KU for that season, with the Jayhawks opening the campaign in Lawrence against Southern Illinois on August 31st and playing at Illinois on September 7th.

The last time the Jayhawks locked horns with UNLV, Mark Mangino was in his first season at Kansas, with a 31-20 loss in 2002 followed by a 46-24 win in 2003.

This year’s Kansas team will open the season at Memorial Stadium in Lawrence against Tennessee Tech on September 2nd.
