Lady Pirates finish Florida trip 0-2, with 79-48 loss to ASA

The ASA College Silver Storm improved to 4-8 with a 79-48 victory over the North Central Missouri College Lady Pirates on Wednesday afternoon in Miami, Florida. 

The starters did the damage for the victors, as Ta’Kyla Austin had 20 points, Mackenzie Sadaka 19, G’Torria Swinton 13 points and 18 rebounds, while Lashayla Johnson had 11 points.

The Lady Pirates, headed into Holiday Break with an overall record of 6-7, had a pair of front-court double-doubles, as Hailey Burrows had 14 points and 10 rebounds, with Da’Briauna Bables adding 13 points and 10 rebounds.  Crystal Eureste came off the bench to tally 10 points on 5 of 12 accuracy from the field.

The Lady Pirates and Pirates are next in action on Wednesday, January 9th, hosting the Southeast (NE) Community College Storm at the Ketcham Community Center in Trenton.  The women’s game at 5:30, and the men’s game at 7:30, will both be aired live on Hot Country Z 101.7.
