Mizzou hoops announces 2018-2019 SEC schedule, completing 30 game slate

The Missouri Tigers, in cooperation with the Southeastern Conference, have announced an 18-game schedule for the 2019 portion of the upcoming men’s basketball season, beginning with a visit by the Tennessee Volunteers to Columbia on January 8th, and concluding, just prior to the SEC Tournament, with a trip to Athens to take on the Georgia Bulldogs on March 6th.  Tip times and television designations will be announced at a later date.

After the Tennessee-Mizzou game on January 8th, the Tigers travel to the “Other Columbia”, to play Frank Martin’s South Carolina Gamecocks on January 12th.  Alabama is at Missouri on January 16th, before two road games follow for Cuonzo Martin’s team, as MU heads to Texas A&M (January 19th) and Arkansas (January 23rd).  The LSU Tigers will be at Mizzou Arena on Saturday, January 26th, before Missouri, in another “Battle of Tigers” finishes out January at Auburn on January 30th.

Opening up February, Mizzou hosts Vanderbilt on February 2nd, travels to Tennessee for a game on the 5th, and host Texas A&M on February 9th.  Remaining home games will be against Arkansas (2/12), Kentucky (2/19), South Carolina (3/2) and Senior Night with Ole Miss (March 9th).  The Tigers will be looking to beat the Wildcats in Columbia in back-to-back years, having taken down John Calipari’s team in 2018, 69-60.

Missouri will play at Ole Miss on February 16th, Florida on February 23rd, Mississippi State on February 26th, and Georgia on March 6th.
