NCMC Head Women’s Golf Coach Daniel Cordray has signed Julia Weydert, the first recruit in program history.  Weydert, a senior at Brookfield High School, has had a nice prep career.  She has been an integral part of a golf program that has won two district titles and received a state tournament berth.  Individually as a senior, Julia tied for 2nd place in districts, tied for 12th place at sectionals and earned 38th place in state.

“Signing Julia Weydert is a great start for our young program.  She shows the ability to grow very quickly with her game.  After watching Julia play a number of times, I can see her bring down her scores with the added time she will put in at the collegiate level,” remarked Cordray.

Julia is excited to be the first Lady Pirate to sign with the program.  Also, she will continue the family tradition of competing in athletics at NCMC.  Her sister, Jacqueline, is currently on the softball team.
