The 41st annual girls and 79th annual boys Albany Basketball Tournaments will open with quarterfinal games on Monday, November 26th and Tuesday, November 27th in the Albany High School gymnasium, with the Stanberry Lady Bulldogs and Jefferson Eagles earning the #1 seeds in the annual event.
The Princeton Tigers are a three seed (girls) and six seed (boys), and will play in back-to-back games on Monday night, November 26th, with the Lady Tigers drawing King City at 7:45, followed by the Tiger boys playing Stanberry at 9:15. The earlier matchups on the first night of the tourney will be the Stanberry Lady Bulldogs playing Pattonsburg at 4:45, with the #2 seeded Pattonsburg boys battling King City at 6:15.
The four-game schedule for Tuesday, November 27th features the #2 seeded Worth County Lady Tigers against South Harrison at 4:45, the Worth County boys (seeded #4) opposite South Harrison at 6:15, with the Jefferson girls tangling with Albany in the 4-5 game at 7:45, while the top-seeded Jefferson boys play Albany at 9:15.
