The Stanberry Lady Bulldogs dominated play on Tuesday, rolling to a 74 stroke victory over the runner-up Worth County Lady Tigers in the Gallatin Invitational Golf Tournament at the Daviess County Country Club. Stanberry, in addition to the team win, boasted four of the top six scores individually, led by medalist Allie Gage, with an 18-hole score of 89. The runner-up position was held by Stanberry’s Allison Marticke, at 92, while Trenton’s Werthen Gass had the only sub-100 score on the day, with a round of 97 good for third place. Stanberry’s Brianna Newman, at 10, was fourth, with Stanberry’s Marissa Newman and Worth County’s Hannah McElwain tying for fifth place at 102. Coming in at 7th place 105 was Worth County’s Regan Allee, with Trenton’s Maci Henson tying Maysville’s Gabbie Hulett in 8th place at 109, while Southwest Livingston’s top score, a 114 turned in by MaKenna Campbell, was the 10th best score on the course.
Teamwise, Stanberry’s winning score was 382, with Worth County second at 456, Maysville third at 483, Trenton’s 493 good for fourth place, and the 506 from the host Gallatin Lady Bulldogs in the fifth position.
