On Monday night, the Lady Bulldog JV continued its fine play, moving to 9-0 with a 65-14 win over the visiting Milan Lady Wildcats.  McKayla Blackburn had a career high 21 points to pace Trenton, with Haley Kidd and Saedee Jackson each tallying 14, and Allena Allen 10 points.

On Saturday, the Trenton JV boys picked up their first victory of the season, 40-26 against Maysville in the third place game of the Gallatin Tournament.  The Bulldogs dominated the middle two quarters in the victory, pulling away from a 10-all tie after the first quarter to outscore the Wolverines 23-7 over the next 16 minutes.

Dalton Burchett led the Bulldogs with 12 points, with Matt Sibbit adding 10.

On Monday night, Trenton’s JV lost to Milan, 34-27, with the Bulldogs finding offensive struggles on their home floor in the second half.  Milan jumped on the Bulldogs quickly, leading 19-7 after the first quarter, but THS rallied in the second, trailing 21-17 at halftime.  However, the home team scored only one point in the third quarter, the decisive slump in the defeat.
