The Milan Wildcats are headed for Trenton High School for a Grand River Conference doubleheader tonight (Friday night), with the Lady ‘Cats looking to hand Trenton its second loss of the season, with the Milan boys, ranked #3 in the state in Class 2, looking to move to 18-0, and take another step toward a potential GRC Eastern Division title.
Last week, the Lady ‘Cats finished second in the Milan Tournament, falling to Green City in Saturday night’s championship game, before rebounding on Tuesday night with a resounding win over South Harrison, heard on KTTN FM 92.3. The Milan boys won their third tournament (Milan, Marceline, Novinger) of the season on Saturday night with a win over Putnam County.
On Tuesday night, Milan, behind 27 points from Dominic Dabney, beat South Harrison on Tuesday night. After the Trenton challenge on Friday night, the Lady Midgets and Midgets prepare to travel to Unionville, for GRC East doubleheader action on Tuesday, January 23rd, on KTTN FM 92.3.
