Trenton hoping for sophomore improvement to boost tennis hopes for 2020

The Trenton Lady Bulldog tennis team boasted decent numbers and opportunities to grab openings as practice began for the upcoming season on Monday, August 10th.

Returning as coach to lead the girls into their 2020 season is Tammy Ockenfels:

Being able to get on the court this summer, among with only losing one senior to graduation, are bringing optimism for a strong September season:

With half of the roster made up of sophomores, decisions will need to be made on varsity openings going into the opener on Tuesday, September 1st, when Trenton hosts Carrollton:

A three-match road trip will follow the Carrollton dual, with Trenton traveling to Savannah on September 3rd, Chillicothe on September 7th, and Bishop LeBlond on September 8th.  The Lady Bulldogs tournament schedule includes the Cameron Invitational on Wednesday, September 16th and the Benton Tournament in St. Joseph on Wednesday, September 23rd. 

The regular season concludes with home duals against Chillicothe on September 24th, Benton on September 28th, and Lexington on September 29th.
