Trenton Middle School boys win South Harrison Relays

The Trenton Middle School boys track team traveled to Bethany on Monday afternoon, participating in the South Harrison Junior High Relays.  The visiting Bulldogs claimed the team title by 7 points over runner-up Worth County and eight points over the host South Harrison Bulldogs.

Quincy Griffin won first place in the triple jump for TMS, with a leap of 32 feet, 6 inches.  Trenton’s other 1st place finish came from Camdyn Leeper, with a 400 meter dash time of 59.55 seconds.  Leeper added a runner-up finish in the 100 meter hurdles while Chase Otto had a 2nd place (800 meter run) and 3rd place (1600 meter run) for TMS.  

The 4 by 100 meter relay team (Griffin, Tyler Siemer, Padyn McCullough, and Gavin Roeder) finished 2nd, with the 4 by 400 meter relay team (Austin Bouzek, Gavin Roeder, Canyon VonBurg, and Leeper) was 2nd as well.

Griffin was 3rd in the 200 meter dash.

The Trenton Middle School boys will participate in the Putnam County Relays on Thursday afternoon in Unionville.
