The Trenton Lady Bulldogs will take a 23-2 record into district play, enjoying a first-round bye in Class 2, District 15, a five-team tourney hosted by Lexington, starting on Wednesday.
The #4 seed Penney Lady Hornets (6-11) will take on the #5 seed South Harrison Lady Bulldogs (2-15) in an opening round game on Wednesday night at 5 o’clock, with the winner advancing to play Trenton on Thursday night at 5 o’clock.
The second semifinal is already set, with the #2 seed Lexington Minutewomen (11-6) hosting the #3 seed Carrollton Lady Trojans (7-12). That game will be played on Thursday night at 6:30.
The Class 2, District 15 championship game will be played on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock.
