Twenty-six THS student-athletes receive All-GRC Academic honors

A total of 26 student-athletes from Trenton High School, including 11 from the state quarterfinal reaching Lady Bulldog softball team, have received All-Academic honors from the Grand River Conference for the Fall 2016 semester.

According to GRC by-laws, Academic All-Conference honors go to those that achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.5 (on the 4.0 scale) at the end of the semester.  A freshman GPA will be determined by the final semester of the student’s 8th grade year.  The student-athlete must be a varsity letter winner and be recommended by their head coach.

For Trenton High School’s softball team, named All-Academic GRC, go to with the Lady Bulldogs GRC softball championship, are, in alphabetical order, Katerina Black, McKayla Blackburn, Mason Hooyman, Jaylen Neff, Whitley Richman, Taylor Richman, Tenna Roberts, Jayden Roeder, Ainsley Tolson, Ashten Whitaker, and Shayla Woodside.

Three players from the THS girl’s golf team were named All-Academic All-GRC, with Werthen Gass, Hannah Kennebeck, and Jordain Oshel receiving the recognition.

From the GRC Co-Champion Trenton Bulldog football team, named All-Academic All-GRC are Dalton Berry, Carson Burchett, Dalton Burchett, Connor Cotton, Lathan Croy, Hunter Dugan, Jarren King, Chase Marsh, Mason Owen, Cole Schilling, Matthew Sibbit, and Jadan Whitney.
