Brian Huff, a highly regarded outside linebacker, has committed to playing college football at Missouri. Ranked 21st in his position by Rivals, Huff made the announcement on 247Sports’ YouTube channel. He becomes the fourth four-star recruit to join Missouri’s Class of 2024.

Huff, from Valley View High School, had multiple offers, including from Arkansas, UCF, and UNLV. However, he ultimately chose Missouri, joining fellow four-star prospect Nicholas Rodriguez in the linebacker room. This commitment brings the total number of commitments for Missouri’s Class of 2024 to 11.

Standing at 6-foot-3½ and weighing 221 pounds, Huff possesses the skills that scouts value. His film showcases exceptional play-recognition abilities, allowing him to make impactful hits on ball carriers.

In addition to his strength, Huff exhibits above-average speed and finesse moves to effectively shed blocks. His agility enables him to make plays across the field by swiftly navigating the line of scrimmage.

During his junior year, Huff had an impressive performance, recording three fumble recoveries, two sacks, two blocked field goals, and a safety. He also demonstrated his skills in pass coverage, accumulating three interceptions during his sophomore campaign.

Last season, Huff led Valley View to a 9-3 record and a conference title, making 92 total tackles. With his commitment, Missouri’s recruiting class for the 2024 cycle is now ranked 56th.

Huff visited Missouri officially during the “Gold Rush” recruiting weekend in late June. His commitment solidifies Missouri’s recruitment efforts, marking the seventh commitment from players who attended that visit.
