Mizzou announces schedule dates/opponents for 2020-21 season

The University of Missouri will open the 2020-2021 men’s basketball season on Wednesday, November 25th with a home date against Oral Roberts University.  The Tigers schedule will include five non-conference games, participation in a neutral site, yet-to-be-announced event involving multiple Division 1 teams, in addition to an 18-game schedule in the Southeastern Conference, including nine games at Mizzou Arena.

The university did say that the non-conference schedule could be open to late additions,a nd remains under construction at the time of the press release.

In addition to the season opener against Oral Roberts, Missouri will host Liberty University of December 9th, Bradley on Tuesday, December 22nd, and TCU in the SEC/Big 12 challenge on Saturday, January 30th.  For the first time since 1951, Mizzou will play Wichita State’s Shockers at Koch Arena in Wichita on Sunday, December 6th.

In the SEC, Missouri will play home-and-away series against Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and South Carolina.  The Tigers will travel to play Auburn, Georgia, Mississippi State, and Florida and host Kentucky, LSU, Alabama, and Vanderbilt.
