Eight softball teams from northwest Missouri, including five from the western division of the Grand River Conference, will play in the 28th annual North Andrew Tournament, today (Wednesday) and Saturday in Rosendale.
Field conditions permitting, quarterfinal matchups, scheduled for Wednesday, are #1 seed Stanberry against Northeast Nodaway at 4 o’clock, followed by #2 seed Plattsburg opposite King City at 5:30. At 7 o’clock, #3 seed North Nodaway takes on the Pattonsburg Lady Panthers, with the #4 vs. #5 matchup of North Andrew and Albany at 8:30.
The rest of the tournament is slated to end on Saturday, with consolation semifinals at 8:30 and 10 o’clock in the morning, the 7th place game at 11:30 and the consolation final at 2 o’clock.
The semifinals are at 3 o’clock and 4:30 on Saturday afternoon, with the third place game at 6 o’clock and championship game at 7:30 on Saturday night.
