The Maryville Spoofhounds held off the stiff challenge of the Trenton Bulldogs to take a 5-4 decision in a Monday night tennis duel at Trenton High School. While the host Lady Bulldogs controlled doubles, sweeping all three matches, Maryville was a 5-1 victor in six singles matches against THS. Trenton’s only singles win came at the #2 match, with Kendall Crowley defeating Athena Groumoutis 8-1. In doubles, Trenton wins were from Lexi Gott and Crowley 8-3, Gwyneth Foster and Mallory Sole 8-4, and Morgan Dolan and Alaina Overton 9-7.
