The Trenton Lady Bulldogs had to battle hard to take three sets and the sweep over the host South Harrison Lady Bulldogs in varsity volleyball action on Thursday night from Bethany.

The final score in favor of Trenton was 27-25, 25-17, 25-23, bringing coach Brad Ewald and his team their fifth victory of the season, going into the Carrollton Tournament on Saturday.

The Trenton JV won in straight set 25-16, 25-22, with the schools splitting the “C” team match, with Trenton winning the opening set 25-17, and South Harrison winning the second, 25-19.

Trenton will host Chillicothe on Monday night, with coverage of the varsity match on KTTN FM 92.3 starting just past 6 o’clock from the THS gymnasium.
